Syngenta and NPTA launch Round 2 of groundbreaking 5<25 training initiative

The Syngenta NPTA 5<25 Professional Futures training initiative is back. Now for the second round this year, the programme from the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA), in partnership with Syngenta, offers five young pest professionals under the age of 25 the opportunity to gain a fully funded RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management, along with additional support designed to accelerate their careers.

Following a highly successful first round, which attracted attention both nationally and internationally, this initiative continues to build momentum as a benchmark for professional development in the pest control industry.

Open to individuals under 25 who are employed by or are members of an NPTA-registered business, the programme provides:

  1. A fully funded RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management
  2. Access to additional NPTA training and development opportunities
  3. Business and professional mentoring from respected industry leaders
  4. Ongoing support from the NPTA technical team throughout the process

Applications are now open and will close on 4 July 2025. 

Candidates are required to complete a short application form and explain what gaining the qualification would mean for their future in the pest control industry.
