First Prompt Classroom covers ant and cockroach control

News (United Kingdom)

BASIS Prompt - the industry register for professional pest controllers - has launched a new online learning platform for its members, with the first installment covering Managing Ants and Cockroaches.

Created in collaboration with Syngenta, the PROMPT Classroom explores the characteristics of indoxacarb and discovers how the unique attributes of Advion products enhance the chances of success when dealing with ants and cockroaches; two of the most persistent pests.

Completing the Classroom qualifies for two BASIS CPD Points.

Richard Moseley of Syngenta added: "Cockroaches and ants are particularly challenging pests in many situations. The PROMPT Classroom provides many useful tips and ideas to help pest controllers successfully tackle infestations - whether they be new to the industry or experienced operators.

"Along with the practical advice, it delves into the science of bioactivation that makes Advion Gel such a valuable option for pest controllers."

"We are pleased to be sponsors of the first PROMPT Classroom and supporting the industry with training for professional development."

Tanya Kesterton, Head of Digital Learning at BASIS Classroom, highlighted: "This is a fantastic opportunity for pest professionals on the PROMPT register to stay up to date and continue their professional development at a time that suits them.

"Professionalism within the pest control sector is continually improving as people engaged in the industry are trained, qualified and improving skills through CPD."

"BASIS PROMPT is committed to offering development opportunities to support pest professionals." All BASIS PROMPT members will have access to the classroom and the opportunity to gain CPD points.
