Like other products in the Advion brand family, Advion Insect granular bait features the active ingredient, indoxacarb, to control a broad spectrum of pests such as ants, crickets, cockroaches and silverfish. It also features the MetaActive™ effect, which provides targeted control of pests. The active ingredient is only activated once ingested by the target pest, meaning non-target organisms are largely unaffected.
Advion Insect granular bait also features horizontal transfer, which helps give you more thorough control of ant and cockroach populations. This occurs when foraging ants and cockroaches ingest the bait, transfer it back to their harbourage sites and infect their non-foraging nest mates. In cockroaches, the bait is passed along when live cockroaches feed on the feces, secretions and remains of dead cockroaches in the harbourage. In ants, it is shared with nest mates through trophallaxis.
